This is simply one of those but the size and shape of eyeglasses. So, if you have one of those at home, just use it and skip the expense.That said, this replaces my hot, wet washcloth, and so is really handy and holds heat a lot longer than the washcloth! Plus less messy. Because hand washing these things requires 24 hours of air-dry time, I would recommend buying two of these, as I use mine daily. Reviewers who say it's not moist heat: yes, it really is. It's just not WET heat, like with the hot washcloth. There's a difference. I had to laugh at the fact that this thing comes with straps. I'm cutting mine off because they get in the way in the microwave and I've never once used them. You're blind with these things on your face so you might as well sit or lie down; where ya gonna go, after all, completely blind??? I also cracked up about the photo...
