We used to take a prescription decongestant/antihistamine combo, but the medicine's mfg changed companies, and we were no longer able to afford it. I had to search for something that would do almost as good a job that we could afford. I used to buy this type medicine at KMart in a bottle of 150 tablets, but for some reason, KMart has pretty much done away with them. I was back to searching for them again. When I bought this, I'd never heard of Kirkland products. Since then, I've learned that it is a brand sold at Costco, and we've never had one of those near us. I was very pleased with the purchase. They work just as well as KMart's brands at a similar cost. The product was shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. The pills are all blister-packaged as individual pills, which really annoyed me at first (the bottle was all "pre-popped", so to speak!)... I love that you can get 3 boxes at one time, with 144 tablets in each box, which for someone like me, who takes this kind of drug everyday, it's nice to have enough on hand for you to have it when you need it. The price on Amazon is alittle more than what you would pay for this same product, if you could buy it from Costco directly, but it's still less costly than similiar products, and you can't get those in this size. The Kirkland Signature Brand, which is Costco's own brand, it is just as effective as similar products costing much more. All in all, Iam very happy with this purchase, and very happy that Amazon does sell this product for purchase, especially for people who cannot get to a Costco store. |
