These markers are singehandedly keeping me sane in medical school. I use them daily for my notes. My first set lasted 1.5 years of constant use. I am very impressed, so I'm ordering my next set. I've also wooed several classmates to my marker love. They are the best ever.

I purchased this model in black a little over a year ago. Keep in mind we had a GE refrigerator in white for 15 years before this one. The finish on it was very durable and did not have a scratch or dent. The GE refrigerator gshf5kgxww in BLACK scratches and dents easily!!!! The finish is not durable. The interior works well and is spacious. It is disappointing that the exterior functions the way it does.

Miele KM5773 36 Induction Cooktop 5 Cooking Zones Reviews
This review is from: Miele KM5773 36 Induction Cooktop 5 Cooking Zones
I love my induction cooker. Am a long time die hard cast iron fan and this is the perfect cooker for me. Pancakes, crepes or tortillas, and hot water for tea in a few quick minutes to name a few of my weekly uses. Great for slow cooking and simmering recipes due to the low power usage, too (no more crock-pot). Quick heating and quick cool surface means more counter top work room.
My first Miele induction cooker was purchased the second year they came out with induction. The technology won me over, but Miele's first model's fan was not large enough to keep the working components cool and mine quit on me a few months after the guarantee ran out. Unfortunately Miele's service was not very supportive and charged me for a lower version replacement. My replacement does not have all the same features nor look quite as nice as the first, but the newer model works wonderfully. This poor service was unusual for Miele because they have been great with their maintenance of all my other... Read more

My husband purchased this cooktop for our recent kitchen remodel, and while we love our other miele products (vacuum cleaner), this product has been a very poor performer. We've used induction cooktops before (Wolf brand) with no trouble. However, the miele cooktop is often times unresponsive - for some unknown reason, the buttons often times won't work when pressed. A service person evaluated the problem, and said that we need to use our thumbs instead of our fingers to use the buttons (??!!). The cooktop also has the very annoying habit of turning off completely if something other than an induction-suitable item is placed on the surface (other induction cooktops might have the same function, I'm not sure). So, for example, if a lid or spoon is on the surface, it will turn off. Then, it's a coin flip as to whether the buttons will work well enough to turn it back on in time, which leads to a somewhat stressful cooking experience. We use the stovetop daily - probably 3-4 times... Read more

In various homes, we have had ceramic, gas and ceramic with halogen. For us, this is the best we've ever had. Going back to non-induction will likely never happen. We've used the Miele for two months now and believe we've seen both the good points and the bad.
Pros:
Excellent burner layout. While this may seem pretty simple for any manufacturer to provide, in our looking at many cooktops, it seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Plenty of room between burners, large pots up front or in the middle where they are simple to handle.
It's not about boiling water quickly, it's about control. Better than gas, much better than ceramic. Low temperature cooking is a breeze. Very quick response both up and down. Can switch burners on the fly with virtually no heat up time, like gas. No waste heat and no smell, unlike gas.
Easy clean up. You can clean as you are cooking. Or lay a paper towel right against the pans if you'e ladling a... Read more
