These grips are a great introduction to dowel grips, even for gymnasts with larger hands if you can get their size! The leather is skinny, so the gymnast can still feel her hand in contact with the bar, which makes for an easy transition. I have several girls who still prefer these after several years of swinging bars with dowel grips, and they last a long time. We tried the Pixie Grips from 10.0 one year for all of our new dowel grip girls, and several had worn out velcro within less than a year, so these are MUCH better quality! |
