It's the perfect way to keep the eye bag safe and dry when you store it in the freezer.. I suffer from migraines and so keep three of these in the freezer at all times. When I get struck with a migraine I alternate use of these and by the time I've used the last one the first one is cold again and so on.. It's filled with whole flax seeds and has a gentle weight so it's easy on the eyes. The construction is great...obviously quality. The bag has a little zipper on one end and when you open it the flax seeds are loose inside. I guess you can change them if you'd like and/or wash the bag. It's very pretty too. Have fun!
