I bought this because I need to play at a venue where I need to be mobile and the electric and amplifier wouldn't work.

I didn't buy it at Amazon because I wanted to sample a number of guitars before deciding. I wanted to purchase it from a local music store that provided the samples. It turns out that they charged the same price but didn't include the case.

The guitar feels good in the hands - it's body is narrow and lightweight. The chamber provides good sound projection. The audio quality is excellent. I usually play near the piano and this guitar's body resonates with the piano sounds - as if it wants to be played!

The electric pickup works very well. I use it with a large Peavy amp and it fills up a 200 person venue very well in accompaniment with the drums, piano, trumpet, and singers.

The finish was immaculate! It pickup up finger prints easily. I usually clean it with a cheese cloth and Pledge after a performance... Read more

I bought this as a first guitar for my daughter. I myself play a taylor T5 custom and a Taylor 414ce and have played for over 30 yrs. so I feel I have a good idea how a guitar should play and sound. I am impressed with this guitars sound, action, and electronics. The thinline body is great for her smaller physique. I could easily reccomend it over a 3/4 scale student guitar. Most kids will outgrow 3/4 guitars quite quickly and most of those guitars are crap. Spend a few more $$ and at least if jr. doesn't stick with it you have a guitar you can sell and recoup some of the$$$. Start out with this guitar and it's ease of playability migh keep jr. or princess interested longer than week. Nothing kills a kids desire to play guitar than a crappy built cheap guitar with strings 1/2 inch off of the fret board. It's also a great adult intermediate guitar. Basically if you begin with this guitar you won't want to upgrade anytime soon if ever.

As a seasoned guitar player I... Read more
