4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: Terrific and a bargain to boot, July 16, 2001 By  Jay C (New Hampshire, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Terrafirma Box Set [VHS] (VHS Tape) The Terrafirma series is nice in that it is not purely jump related, but includes decent racing and track footage as well as several extreme trail riding segments. Also included in a couple of the tapes is trials footage that can only be described as mind-boggling. Although the split is probably 80/20 jumps to other stuff, the 20% is more than is provided on most of the other similar films. The choice of music is, for the most part, less harsh than what is usually picked for these types of films. The Terrafirma series appears to be targeted toward a slightly more mature audience than some of the others such as the "Crusty" series (which I also enjoy). As the series progresses from 2 through 5, the racing footage gets less and the film and production quality improves. It is obvious that the popularity of FMX increased as the years progressed as well as the film budgets.
