I've always been a tissot's fanatic... The box and packaging lets you know you just bought something special and is very impressive. For the money, you can't find a better looking, sporty Swiss watch. The crystal is great and the chrono works awesome. Materials are top quality and it looks the part. I have two minor complaints that prevent me from giving it five stars - one is the band. It comes at full length and must be cut to fit your wrist. Cut too much off and you'll have to buy another band (at around $100). I took my time and used a razor blade and it worked out fine. My other complaint (and I knew this may be the case going into it, and its not a big deal) is the bulkiness and weight of the watch. Its very heavy and takes some getting used to, and due to the thickness and width of it, it sometimes gets in the way while I'm working or using the computer so I have to take it off. The watch itself is really solid feeling, while the design is almost art-like, incorporating disk brakes to reinforce the sporty look. Fit & finish is perfect, there are zero flaws anywhere I can see. The rubber/silicon band is substantial and also feels high quality, helping the watch sit perfectly on your wrist and not move around much, making for a very comfortable watch. The deployment clasp is a nice touch that adds a little class to the more utilitarian strap. Also the operation of the chrono and clock is very precise, the hands are perfectly aligned. Overall great watch, may be a little modern for some's taste but I love it. |
