I usually just download one and try it. Most of the time I have "pixel hunting" issues with a lot of these hunt and click games. I have to admit that this one would be somewhat difficult if I hadn't inadvertently started the hint system. It goes somewhat beyond a lot of these kinds of games. The graphics are really good for this type of game. One of the best in my opinion (considering the fact that I play these games on a 24 inch LCD at 1900x1200 resolution). However, I had to tweak the monitor contrast and brightness a couple of times to get a picture where I could more easily pick out objects in the background. After the number of years these games have been coming out I would think they could start making backgrounds with higher resolutions so that the hunted items look sharper against the background. Several times I knew that what I was looking for was probably right out in front, but, like I said, the backgrounds need improvement. I like... This one has a much higher level of difficulty than the first one and is a great deal of fun. It's not something you can easily zip through in a short period of time. I like the fact that it has two levels of play so you can have an easier relaxed play if you prefer or a more competitive challenge if that is what you like instead. The graphics are beautiful and the world intriguing. |
