The Ankle Lok lace-up ankle brace has been proven effective in numerous independent clinical studies. It has been utilized by athletes and patients for over 15 years to help prevent ankle injuries.
The original Swede-O Ankle Lok has the exclusive lacing system which keeps the brace tighter and longer than any other brace for long-lasting support. The lacing system features two sets of eyelets in the midsection of the brace. The dual eyelets create a pulley effect to give you greater leaverage so you can lace the brace tighter for a more effective "Ankle Lok." The dual eyelets are offset to trap the tightened laces between the inner and outer eyelets, which keeps the brace tighter longer than competitors braces.

At 50+ most of us have no business playing basketball. I jump like Jordan (Sparks), shake like Magic (Fingers), and twist my ankles more than Chubby Checker. But lace these miracle braces up, and I'm ready to hobble up and down the floor. Beats other braces: tape is messy, elastic gives no support, and more rigid systems lack flexibility. Even my high school-age son started using them for football. They really give the right combination of stiffness and flexibility, and you can modify the support with 2 plastic inserts. I've used them for 15 years, and NEVER ONCE turned over an ankle! Extend your glorious career. Get 'em, and I guarantee you'll be able to take down J.R. (Ewing). I can't praise this brace enough. I've sprained my left ankle a couple of times pretty badly playing B-ball and nothing has given me a faster recovery. A little Icy hot, tie this brace up tight... and I'm back in no time. This brace gives me great support. It is the BEST $26 I've ever spent. 12 years later I finally had to break down and buy another one. I still use the original one when I play, and I keep the new one in the bag for other people.
