It offers extremely good quality and the criss/cross straps are what most people need to support weak knees. Ignore what others have said about the sizing. McDavid's chart is spot on. Neoprene supports are supposed to be tight. That is how they work. The upper and lower straps are there to prevent slippage and the cross straps put pressure above and below the patella for tracking. I know of what I speak. I have been an athlete for 40 years and I have used many supports. Recently I was diagnosed with severe arthritis in my right knee (due to an old injury) and after surgery and recovery I have been looking for a good knee support. I believe I have found it in the McDavid Ligament Knee Support. Once again, do not listen to those who have say it runs small. It does not! I measured my knee, while straight at 15 � inches and fully bent at 17 inches. This implies a "Large" size but I had to get an X-Large. Paid $ 33.99 and shipping was free.
