I have short hair--doesn't even touch my collar--so a dime sized amount was great. If you have shoulder length or longer, you might want to use a tad more. Shampoo as usual then forgoe your normal strength conditioner for this rich, creamy mixture instead. Leave in three minutes, rinse and style. It's great for putting moisture back in, and for dull looking hair and split ends. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can feel a little heavy and 'greasy' otherwise, but with the right amount (you have to play around to get your own right amount based on hair length), it feels great and leaves your hair smelling gorgeous. It's easy to use and I use it religiously once a week on Fridays and you could never tell that I don't go to the hairdresser as often as I should or that I straighten it too much.
