The controls are Volume/ off, Tone, and overdrive. It also has a headphone jack. In my honest opinion, it is a good headphone amplifier to use when to need to practice without disturbing people around you. The speaker sound is fine for a clean sound ( like jazz, or country) or semi distorted and more (rock). If your looking for an small amp. that will do metal this may not be for you. Defintely get the Danelectro DA-1 AC power adapter instead of batteries because you may go through them quick. Overall it's pretty good. 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Danelectro N10A Honey Tone Mini Amp in Aqua (Electronics) I bought this little amp based on a review I read. It is everything it was said to be and then some. A wonderful little amp that is unbelievable loud. 9 of 10 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Danelectro N10A Honey Tone Mini Amp in Aqua (Electronics) I'm new to playing guitar - BRAND new, I've only had my Artcore about a week. And I can play it unplugged, but I don't like that plinky acoustic sound, so I was looking for an inexpensive amp that would allow me to get the true electric guitar sound. I actually went to Guitar Center to pick up a Vox DA5 but when I saw the Honeytone I was intrigued. The clerk said it was a good little amp for practice, and I agree. It has a little booklet that tells you how to set the dials for different types of sounds and my family and I have had fun experimenting with the different settings. The Honeytone is about half the size of a thick paperback book and I've ordered the AC adapter for it (though it does come with a battery to get you started). Well worth the $20! |
