My cats readily eat these plant enzymes, and I don't even have to mix them into their food. I bought them because of the stress of moving from a large home in the country to a 635 sq ft loft in the city. I think it's important to supplement their food with enzymes in particular, to support processing their food well, having better nutrition and being more energetic and balanced. This formula has increased their vitality and improved their coats. I have a dog with EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) and I have been using this for about the last 9 months. I highly recommend it for anyone with a dog/cat with digestive problems of this nature. It helps her to digest food and get more nutrients from anything she eats. I chose to use it instead of raw pig pancreas or pancreatic enzymes. It has a broader PH range than the porcine based products and you don't have to let it 'sit' on the food before feeding. You need only be careful with the temperature of the food. More than 118 degrees will kill the enzymes, so if you cook for your pet, be sure to cool it properly before adding and mix it in well. |
